03 Jun Why Our Adobo In A Jar Is ❤?
It’s been a crazy weekend for us, as we squeezed some time in between our busy schedules to do something fun again like cooking #AdoboinajarbyChefLiza and joining this food bazaar. Nakakamiss din to go back to doing much simpler things— Yung ako tagaluto tapos si Ice tagatakim at tagabenta. Sipag at karisma, may kita ka na. Actually, may future talaga ang tandem namin na ‘to. Diba love? 😉
I remember in 2015, we both lost work when we got married. Back then, the public was still unaccepting of our decision, so nawalan sya ng shows, ako naman ng acting work. Itong @kqadoboinajar ang tumulong sa amin to get out of that 8-month slump. We started taking orders online and then eventually naimbitihan kami sumali sa mga food bazaars. From 5-8 kilos of pork per day, we ended making up to 30 kilos a day. The money we made helped us pay off some of our bills and get by until work started coming in again. Kaya special sa amin ‘tong Adobo ko. Bukod sa paborito ng asawa ko, nagiging paborito na rin ng maraming tao.
Sa mga tumangkilik this weekend and namakyaw ng tinda namin, maraming maraming salamat!!! This adobo is always made and seasoned with LOVE. Our joy is when we see your faces happy and satisfied kasi nag-enjoy kayo. Hanggang sa susunod. Back to gobyerno work ulit!😉
